Scholarship Assistance Program

Scholars can utilize the Scholarship Assistance Program from the start of their freshman year of high school until they finish their undergraduate studies. While we strive for our scholars to be accepted and attend a university, we want to ensure that they can afford to do so as well. Our goal is to make the scholarship application process less intimidating and to help students craft a competitive scholarship application. To achieve this goal, scholars have access to the following free services when applying to scholarships:
  • Learn how to search for scholarships
  • Receive our scholarship database
  • Identify weaknesses and strengths in your application
  • Craft a scholarship personal statement/responses
  • Editing and reviewing application
  • Interviewing tips
  • Gain the knowledge to receiving excellent letters of recommendations

Mentorships

Scholars interested in pursuing secondary education at a college or university will benefit from the mentorship program. We match scholars based on their academic interests and ideal mentor preferences to provide scholars with college guidance. Our goal is to ensure scholars are able to receive personalized assistance with career and academic development with the guidance of a skilled mentor, preferably familiar and involved in the same field the scholar is interested in. Scholars who are interested in becoming a mentee will benefit from:
  • Personalized college preparatory resources, help, and advice
  • Regionally catered opportunities
  • Scholarship and college advising
  • Build meaningful relationships with their mentor

College Preparation Program

Scholars interested in pursuing secondary education at a college or university can receive assistance from the College Preparation Program. Our goal is to make sure scholars have the resources they need to conquer college applications. Scholars can benefit from the following:
  • Assistance on making your college list
  • Learn how to receive excellent letters of recommendations
  • Guidance when brainstorming essay topics
  • Feedback on college essays
